Day 1 in Pattaya:

Driving from Bangkok City it took us around 2 hours of drive time to reach Pattaya. The traffic near the city area can build up quickly on trhe weekends and public holidays. I booked my hotel in Jomtien Beach as Pattaya Beach area gets very crowded and packed throughout the day. Jomtien Beach is relatively relaxed with a number of high rises and apartments complex popular with long-term rentals. The beach is not as crowded and you can find a spot to relax and swim as well.
